[Albion] Ian Wright: "Leicester were pretty much in control of that game for me"

You obviously missed the 50 yard raking pass from El-Abd to set up Locadia.

Idiot. That was Virgo. He never gets the credit he deserves for those long diagonals. Just wish Dickinson could actually put them away, shame Andone’s been out.

You have to bear in mind that all "Wrighty" has seen of the game last night is the goals, and maybe the BBC stats, which made it look close.

The rest of his day was spent on the golf course with Alan, before going out and choosing another stupid looking hat.

This.
The MOTD pundits don’t watch most games, perhaps they’ll tune in to see their own loves such as Arsenal. It’s an outdated format, really just a magazine goals/incidents summary.

I wish I was surprised. The text I got yesterday morning from the Leicester mate I met before the match basically said we were very unlucky not to get a point AT LEAST. Which was exactly my reading of the game. One of the other things about the cosy, lazy, complacent BBC pundits is that they're always about three months behind what is actually going on. 'Glenn Murray, he gets the goals for Brighton'. One in the league in about three months?

Ian Wright is very bitter about his Albion rejection. Anyone who saw his reaction to the late goals in that shit lower division mickey mouse trophy game against Palace at the Goldstone will have seen it

For the LFC v Watford highlights, smug Shearer made his article “The old and the young” highlighting the brilliance of Milner and Trent A-A in the game. He could’ve eaten himself for having come up with the gimmick.

I am sure that you all have forgotten that he is Ex Palace so what do you expect him to say.

I think you will find that he alienates Palace as well...continually referencing Arsenal as'we' and forgetting that he ever put his studs on the dogshit turf of Selhurst Park. He also celebrating after scoring the goal; that relegated Palace years ago!

What do people expect the pundits to say? If you're not in the top 6, Leicester or Newcastle then you don't get the credit.

That is total nonsense. The bloke is deluded. Do they actually watch all of the games? We controlled all bar the first 20 minutes and Leicester were lucky to win. To say they controlled it is complete horse shit.

I have to say, I loved him for that. It cut them so very, very deep, some have still never forgiven him.

Lovely stuff.

Chris Sutton and Jenas seem to be on BBC radio and TV relentlessly. Wonder if they’re (tax dodge) freelancers so don’t feature in salary figures?

I like Ian Wright. Honest. Fair. No obvious antagonism towards us, despite the way the club humiliated him. If it were me I'd have nothing but a vat of boling piss to pour on our heads at every opportunity. Perhaps he remembers how decently Fozzy treated him, and how Fozzy ripped the relevant people (who messed Wrighty around on his last day) a new one.
