Brighton fans are on the whole convinced Coppell is going, Reading fans are pretty sure he's not. Everyone's worrying and gossipping and fretting


Coppell is a hero, Pardew is a judas, perhaps soon Coppell will be a judas and Pardew a hero..... and then we get a new hero, until he's shit in which case we hate him and want him sacked, or he's good and he goes on to better things, in which case hes a judas.

Imagine you are the manager of, lets say, Barnsley, and you're having a good start to the season and the fans love you. Then a job comes along in a higher division, at lets say Ipswich, with more money, a big flash ground and fans who will also love you in time. What would you do? Remember of course that the people in Barnsley think that theres is the best job in football.
