So was anyone else on JLin before AOTY season? This track is so big that to call it a banger would be to do it a disservice.

I have no idea what I'd do if it came on in a club though. Probably shit myself.

Nope but as soon I saw it on QuietUs' list I listened, bought, and love it.

Not sure if these are mentioned earlier but I have recently been playing the modern day Daisy Age of Golden Rules album Golden Ticket. it is absolutely aceballs.

Meanwhile an album that came out in the summer but that only sounds right to be playing in the festive now is Architect by C Duncan, a mixture of classical choral, indie dream-pop and folk, like Fleet Foxes on a really good day.

Both brought to my attention via the Mbongwana Start Spotify Radio stream.

I was, sometimes I think it's genius, others noisy nonsense. I'd love to hear if played on a Funktion 1 sound system.

All very good, as far as I'm concerned not a dud track, but a mention for the opener & chatanooga lady

Esben and The Witch return with a (mainly) acoustic EP featuring an excellent cover of Black Sabbath's 'Planet Caravan,' reworkings of 'Dig Your Fingers In' and 'Marching Song.' as well as a new one.

Rather good it is too.

Pre-ordered a month ago along with tickets for their gig at Patterns in February.

Got a couple of albums with some Christmas money: Eska's eponymous album and Kamasi Washington's The Epic - both excellent. Been playing Eska's a lot this week. There's really been some excellent music this year
