Referee: Anthony Taylor
Assistant Referees: Gary Beswick & Adam Nunn

Reserve Assistant: Neil Davies
VAR: Paul Tierney

So we get a ref from Manchester, lets hope he's a red

How long has reserve assistant been a thing? Have I just been oblivious?

Have we got the VAR semi final?

In line with VAR's implementation, I assume one match will have VAR while the other doesn't.

Shane Duffy will get a penalty because of VAR in this semi I can feel it in my waters. He gets battered at every corner and is very good at going down.

It will be like panto season, with half of the stadium watching it on the big screens.

Muzza smashes it home. 1-6.

They won't need VAR to confirm Murray was ten yards offside :)

I don't think that will make any difference to efficiency, the ref will still go pitch side to check the screen. It will increase tension though!!

We've not been using pitch-side monitors in this country. The ref does as he's told by the VAR. Speeds things up but can have the unwanted side effect of less experienced refs over-ruling the ones that are good enough to be picked for the big games.
