Very nice, you'd know already if this was an 'official transfer thread'.

I've got to wonder just how many transfer requests, for my services, Bozza has had to fend off.

I wouldn't be at all surprised is CampNouStandChat don't come knocking soon, my talents are truly wasted here.

That would be STUPID, as there would be no foundation for it.

What you need to do, is create a twitter account - let's call it 'TransferScoopUK' or something, and use that to tweet 'Brighton interested in signing Hazard on a free'.

THEN, you can start your thread, because you'll have a 'story' to link to.

There's no smoke without fire, after all...

It's easy to excite folk on Twitter. One account 'Soccer Sauce' has a few thousand followers. Many of these have desperate and excitable delusion. This is because the page is utter tosh. The owner has often linked players to Albion and players out but has never called a single one correct (apart from Zamora). He would often claim to be first ITK when speculation always starts elsewhere.

Yet every transfer window one of his entries makes NSC.

It took a tragic turn a while back when the account advertised paid positions to work for Soccer Sauce. This was obviously fake and I realised it was some deluded sociopath running it yet people were still falling for it.

I would never start a thread on transfer speculation because, unless it comes from The Argus or, say, Sky Sports it's mostly tosh. The most common phrase in here this summer will be 'Naylor says no..

You're too kind.

If the OP had done his due diligence you could be looking upon Ms Cristian Portugués Manzanera and her puppies.

As much as I'm in love with his WAG, I think we need to await a review from our resident Spanish football expert.

Frutos - if you wouldn't mind, sir.

Not at all.

He's not bad, but also unlikely to set the league on fire.

Has a decent record for Girona in La Liga - I'm not convinced he'd be a starter, but I could certainly see him as a useful squad player.
