London calling? Jimmy Jazz? Clampdown? Death or Glory? I gave up on the Clash after that, only discovering the brilliance of Sandinista a few years later. Different strokes I guess.

Anyway, this album is perfect :)

I was a bit meh when I first heard this album and it was an NSCer that suggested I stick with it for a few listens. Apologies I forget who it was but I am very grateful to him now. Fabulous album on which I like every track

I was going to say A Trick of the Tail, but then remembered it has Robbery, Assault and Battery on it. I’m not sure More Fool me sits well on Selling England By the Pound, either (albeit I love the song), so my Genesis nomination has to be Wind And Wuthering.

Script For A Jester’s Tear was also a terrific debut from Marillion.

Watch by Manfred Mann’s Earth Band is also quality from start to finish.

However, the best examples have to be Rumours and Dark Side of the Moon.

Steve Hackett is touring 'Selling England by the Pound' this year. I'm going to Brighton Dome and Hammersmith Apollo. A chap called Nad Sylvan doing a lot of the Peter Gabriel vocals - and a fantastic job he does too! Great album :thumbsup:
