But if not The way things are really panning out in the transfer window is that the club are looking to fill several of the remaining gaps (RB, CM, CF) which means that the chances of a pathway to the first team (of Brighton at least) for our youngsters is and will continue to be limited. But thats probably more of an opportunity than under Hughton. (he didn't for various reasons - academy wasn't as developed, pressure for points, squad remained relatively fit - rather than imo - some allergic reaction to the idea).
This pleases me, as it suggests he knows what he is doing when it comes to the loan out of Knockaert, as personally I always felt that was his achiles heel.

Those three are practically irrelevant to our survival, we are not expected to beat the top teams, just as long as we can beat the bottom 12 teams at the Amex we survive.

He carried quite a lot of emotional baggage with him with certain events in his life and he was the sort of player who could inspire his team mates or bring them down. He had a lot of attention and probably ended up being a bit spoilt when even him having bad games his song was sung the loudest. We were probably bad for him in the end and he needed a fresh new start, and our squad can focus as equals.

The mentality of the squad was what needed to change and breaking that with a new manager could be a master stroke. What I'm certain is we won't be as bad for the remainder of 2019 as the first 5 months were. Under CH when things weren't going to plan we didn't have a plan B and we would only use around 20 players in any capacity, I hope under Potter he will try new things and give youngsters a chance when his original plan A hasn't worked

Ridiculous. Unless you're Man City, you are never going to win 12 out of 12 of those games. Football doesn't work like that. Neither will we lose all 19 of our away games. If we’re going to survive we will need unexpected points to compensate for losing points in the games we’d expect to win. Potter will have to try to find a way to stop Salah, Rashford and Kane etc
