Starting to get lots more *unsubstantiated* chat now of us swapping Walton + cash for Bogle.

I fear the negativity from certain quarters will reach new highs.

I’ll star, based on the little I’ve seen, slightly better than Schelotto, but is this really improving our team?

Walton I feel is okay, but ultimately Sanchez looks as promising and Walton looked a little uncomfortable with the ball at his feet yesterday.

Would much prefer Walton to go on loan to a good team like Derby then sell outright. Would love to see him progress to first choice in a year or two. If it was the element that gets Boyle who has fantastic potential then I would reluctantly accept his departure.

Perhaps everyone who has seen him once (and written him off) should see him twice then you will be experts, ffs. From what I've seen etc. What a bunch prats! I don't know if he is any good. But i would think 10 games is the minimum to base an opinion on.

Completely and utterly this.

From what I’ve read, they’ll be playing as wing backs

Your favourite positions of full back and defensive midfielder look to be ditched with Potter going 3-5-2. ?

At Swansea he favoured 4-2-3-1 , and yesterday he played 4-2-3-1 - where is this utter certainty he’s going to be playing 3 at the back ?

At Ostersunds they played 3-5-2, 4-2-3-1 and a 4-3-3, at Swansea they started 4-2-3-1 24 times, 4-3-3 10 times and some other formations a couple of times. Swansea fans themselves said they sometimes changed formations up to THREE times in a game, so to act like 4-2-3-1 is the one and only formation we'll be playing where is this need to shut down 3-5-2 talk?

But then again what do they know, they're only Swansea and Ostersunds fans compared to the know it all chaileyjem.

The poster was arguing that we will be playing 3 at the back. I was just saying this was probably unlikely as you’ve just illustrated. But only one person knows for sure, certainly not know it all chaileyjem .

Goodness only knows. With our back four being the stongest part of the team he would be mad to disrupt it in my opinion, Dunk and Duffy are such a strong combination when played together, and l can't see either, particularly Duffy doing well just in a three.

As the old saying goes, if it aint broke don't try to fix it.

It’s worth noting that Walton looked very dodgy with the ball at his feet yesterday. If Potter wants his keepers to play from the back then Walton will struggle to get a chance here.

I think Walton will be sold, either to Derby or Preston (apparently they are very keen to get him).

So you think from that one cameo appearance yesterday, Potter won't give him a chance? Dear oh dear.

Well the centre of our back four is certainly the strongest part of our team and we have two decent left backs. Right back? Hmm.

A right back that can also play on the right of a 3 would be ideal, which in my opinion Duffy or Dunk cannot do

Just because they've never been asked to do it, doesn't automatically mean they can't.

Edit - Oh hang on in writing that I seem to remember an ill fated 20 minutes involving Goldson, but nevertheless as you were.
