It also appears that another thing Maty has in common with 1966 Action Man is a preference for shaving his pubes. If I'm not mistaken that is pube stubble appearing just above his provovatively unbuttoned waist line.
By contrast I'm sure that Stockdale has also neglected this aspect of his personal grooming and sports a fully grown and untrimmed bush.
