On another note having seen pretty well all the teams in action I don’t see three teams that I can say are worse than us
Long hard season coming up I fear but as long as we are decent to watch I can take a relegation battle, which I am convinced we will be in all season.
I'm inclined to agree with this but this isn't to say that we are a bad side. I just think that it is going to be very even among the teams in the bottom half of the division and it's hard to see any club being cast adrift like Huddersfield and Fulham were last season. This could actually be a year where 40 points will be required to stay up.

It's going to be incredibly tight this year and everyone from 7 or 8 downwards is very involved

VAR is an absolute joke in the hands of the FA, rubbish decisions this weekend from substandard refs. Mike Dean didn’t even bother making a decision just let VAR make a crap decision.

A positive from Andone’s madness and the resulting loss, is the Potter, the players and supporters have been reminded very early on in the season that we are in a relegation battle (with a load of other clubs).

Certainly looking that way and a far more entertaining season with most clubs looking more capable of beating anyone outside the top two.
