having said that, we really missed him tonight and his link up with Bruno could have been a match winner. Makes his sending off even more galling

I actually agree. Running at lower level teams and creating chances is a way of scoring against them... Knocky can do this.
Lumping it at their defenders in the air (which they really like as they're not supremely skilful on the deck) is not the way forward....
He cared so much he went and got himself sent off needlessly on Saturday when he knew what was to come.

I saw him - heading toward the player's entrance around 19:10.
Jeeeez this is pretty desperate.

He was stupid in Saturday, but this ‘get rid of him’ is utter drivel. Stacks of players have done idiotic things, but blimey talk of getting rid is bizarre.
Tonight we had Solly who tried but lost every 50/50 and in reality delivered next to nothing, and then AJ........
The thing with Knockaert is even when he is off form he will press and want the ball, there were players looking to off-load last evening because they were scared.

He let many people down in the Bournemouth game, including himself.
He needs to learn how to control his frustration but that's difficult when he clearly cares a great deal.
I think if you did a poll, less than 10% would want him out. He is extremely popular, adults and kids alike.

Quite possible - worldie goal as well. Then, having already been booked for an earlier dive, will be sent off for over-celebrating.
He does, but to be fair on him all of the frustration seems to have come to the fore since he highlighted his mental health issues.
He's not my favourite player, but I am a big fan, as he is exciting to watch and seems to give everything..... Always in my team.

Actually got the chance to speak to him at the Player Awards and couldn't help mention the red card. He's surprisingly humble off the pitch, and he apologised profusely for letting the team/fans down. It's always good to see someone own their mistakes and I genuinely believe his hot headedness comes from a place of passion and determination. What he did was wrong, but I'd rather see that than watch players stand there with their hands in their metaphorical pockets, like some of our players.

Although this worries me a bit:

It's not so much the technique that's the problem, but the red mist. The ball had gone, he could have pulled out of the challenge, but chose not to.
