I know Archer picked up the wicket but in these conditions surely Woakes is the more suited bowler, these conditions are made for Braod and Woakes.

Khawaja gone :lolol: Legside nick, not out and reviewed shows a massive edge.

One again the Aussies don’t walk, BOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I like Root's decision to bowl. The Aussies will be afraid of Archer and without Smith they are not the same side, so the sooner we get amongst them the better. Rain delays will afford Archer the rest he needs and give the Aussies time to brood over their predicament.

Warner looks broken. He's in such bad nick he's missing the edge on countless deliveries now.

Good.

The cheating prick.

You have to say what an innings, to see Warner reach double figures here has been a remarkable effort.

11* off 31 balls. :clap2:

The graphic they just showed is remarkable.

In the series, Warner has played and missed, or edged, 39% of deliveries faced.

That is incredible - more than two balls in every over

Wouldn't suprise me at all if some toff at HQ has asked Archer to slow it down a bit, we're English after all

Sign him up :D:D

Good review by England.

Ps.....not many short deliveries yet, are we being a bit after you claude? Or is it just a bit too damp (as it can be here)?

Conditions too good for swing to waste on short balls at the moment. Full swinging deliveries far more likely to get wickets ?

Play due to resume at 15.40, there’s still rain around though. This morning there was meant to be no rain after 12pm, shocking forecast.

Warner beginning to look ominous, having survived any number of play-and-misses
