I hear he has but there are work permit problems  loan him out and sell him for 60 million in a season or so seems to be the plan.

What work permit? Hemed doesn't need one as he holds an EU passport, Polish to be exact due to his mother being born there.

Apologies, should read the posts better, I was referring tongue in cheek to our new 50 million pound striker mentioned a couple of posts before.

Had no idea that Lewis Dunk’s middle name is his big brothers name. If anyone knows Carl, can they confirm if his middle name is Lewis?

Why are we even still discussing Tomer Hemed, apart from he's arguably less of a dud than Locadia and Andone - tho still retain faint hopes for the latter. TB may well have spent millions, but he and his recruitment team have patently failed to address the lack of goals. Need to spend big on that in January at the latest else we're going down, sure as chips is chips. Based on last season, a trip to the Amex is the easiest awayday at the office any team is likely to encounter all season.

Good job that last season has no influence on this one then with a totally different manager.

Right on the money. It's a massive pity that South African players require 10 years of loans in the EU before being able to play in a pre-season friendly as I'd like to see Percy playing up top with the absolute unit who was playing for SA as the central striker the other night...

It's just not fair :(

You have touching faith in the new manager - ANY new manager - to make silk purses out of this group of sow's ears. Bless.

Potter's on a hiding to nothing unless we get some proper firepower in.

I cannot imagine any manager would agree to got to a new club (who has patently struggled in the last season) and be expected to improve on the previous season without significant backing. So far we have another CB (arguably not needed) and another winger (replacement for injured Jose) other than that the team is identical to last year...so well short of the level needed..
True tactics can change as can philosophies of the the game, however quality players needed to make the difference.

In an ideal world, IMHO like, the Albion would do a DOUBLE SWOOP on Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood. Both are acutely aware of where the goal is. Could offer Burnley decent money and half a dozen duffers in exchange

We've already sold him to Hibernian before he's even kicked a ball in anger.
