There's three times more sheep than people in Iceland.
They eat a lot of sheep.
One delicacy is fermented raw half a sheep's head.
A minister in the Icelandic government ate what was supposedly the best ever but he eventually conceded it wasn't as good as he was used too because:-
"The half head hadn't been fermented long enough for the eyeball to become liquid and be able to be drunk".
