Hi guys - great show... not sure about A Question of Roar personally, but understand the need for content! Thanks for your hard work in creating something entertaining for the love of it.

A few shows to catch up on since we last posted...

We re-uploaded the show with the late, great Peter Brackley from 2014. He was on great form that day...

Matt Dorn, chief executive of Albion In The Community, together with Ian Goodwin and Peter O'Sullivan at Spencer Vignes' book launch...

And for last week's show, Louis Myles, director of 'Kaiser', and Matt Potter of this parish came by to talk about Newcastle, AITC, films, rail prices for away fans, £30 price cap and much more...

The latest Roar podcast is available to download. Mark Brailsford and Jared Evans discuss Leicester, VAR, Adam El-Abd and much more. Plus The Eagles Beak's Jay Crame gives an honest - and prophetic - view of Palace's season so far...

This week's show may contain a little gloating. We'll try and be professional, but you know, well - we're only human.

The 44th and final Albion Roar of 2018 is up as a podcast on AudioBoom.

Marcus Hancocks and Andy Bass joined Ady and me to chew over the highs and lows of the Albion's year. Plus you can find out what the listeners voted for in the poll for favourite Albion goal, favourite performance, best moment and Player of 2018.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the 12th year of the show. Happy New Year to our listener, and we'll be back in 2019.

I got caught on the hop out side White Hart Death Star on Tuesday by BBC Radio. Thankfully I had listened to Al and Andy's analysis of why the wheels had come of this season.

I am told I sounded very knowledgeable and upbeat. Cheers the Roar, keep up the good work.

Also been around town around Easter and caught two Move on Up shows, which sounded excellent in the Brighton sunshine.

Ady - do you feel your interview with Paul Barber was a waste of time last week? According to him the season was a success and we met our objectives. So why sack CH? Assuming he wasn't sacked for the crime of losing to City at home when they were playing for the title, when he was talking to you he must have had this in the back of his mind, in which case he took you for a ride mate. I think Paul Barber has generally been good news for the club, but this sort of contempt for fans' intelligence really riles.

Is their a Albion Roar early recall being considered, enough material in the last and next 48 hours possibly.

Why?

According to the Argus today, Tony Bloom took the decision, alone, last night:-

..Bloom alone took the decision to dispense with Hughton late last night, hours after Albion ended their second season under him in the Premier League just above the relegation zone in 17th with a 4-1 home defeat by champions Manchester City. ..

There will be a lot to talk about this weekend that's for sure.

No off season for the Roar now we are in the premiership. You can bet your bottom dollar an announcement will be made just after you have wrapped up the next episode.

Although a recap of Chris Hughtons amazing run with the Albion would be worth a listen in itself.

Not at all. That interview was recorded on Wednesday and as far as he was aware any decisions of this nature where going to be discussed when the board members go away this week.

There is a possibility that it had already been discussed, but if it had, there is no way that he would tell us on air

At the time the interview was recorded it was up to date.

Its never a waste of time.
