funny thing, i recall story/thread about this being done last summer, how they'd focused on fitness to be able to press more and see out games stronger. i said at time thats all very well if you have players instructed to press, something we dont seem to do under Hughton.

The usual routine is a recovery session at Lancing the day after a home game. Don't see why that would be any different this weekend.

Naylor said that the players were not made available to the press - I would guess they have all had a social media ban imposed on them as well.

Yet Stephens was interviewed on the TV but perhaps that is a contractual obligation that the club have to fulfill.

I’m very pleased the club has clearly imposed a social media ban on the players today. I hope it is in place until Tuesday.

We were. For the first half of the season. See the points tally. Then we ran out of puff (and fit players) and got deeper and deeper...eventually into the mire.
