Not heard back from the OP Whitterz as yet. Maybe he has some inside info, maybe he overheard a bloke down the pub or maybe it’s just bulls***.

He did follow it up wth the Tiltman/Farrington season which I believe ended up with relegation?

Not quite! Tiltman and Farrington never played together. Tiltman left in 88. MF joined in 91

I have heard from a very well placed source at Priory Lane that he will take charge until the end of the season.

"Drinking pints of whisky! Mark McGhee.....":whisky::whisky::whisky:

Still remember the happy times at Withdean under McGhee and that win at Upton Park. Great day out as too was the play-off final at the Millennium Stadium. :clap2:
Retirement job in Eastbourne?

Funny how back in the 90s he was portrayed as a selfish, egotistic, greedy mercenary , ditching Leicester for wolves.
Couldn’t be further from the truth - he must have a genuine love for the game

Just spoken to my Dad, a borough supporter, and he has heard nothing about McGee, not even a rumour, and as you say, nothing on the website.

It’s official now.

Good luck to the guy. He bought some good times to the club and I'll be ever thankful for that.

Fallen? I'm sure he didn't have to take this job. Good on him I say, for being prepared to get down and dirty, and manage a team further down the football pyramid.

My thoughts exactly. Hope he does well, partly because I like him and also because Borough are loosely my second team. Decent infrastructure but been treading water in Conf South for a while now.
