I used to question Solly’s ability, but now I rate him. When we play well, he’s often out best player or the equal of any other (vs Palace, Watford for example).

He really is the least of our issues.

Indeed. He had them very worried, and was by far our best player in the first half, and was then surprisingly injured by a Burnley player with an 'accidental' follow through.....

But, But, Burnley players would never do such a thing. Ask the Ginger twunt, he'll tell you that he hates cheats.

Don't think CH is out of his depth so much as the players are. The Ryan-Dunk-Duffy triumvirate is SOUND. But beyond that it's Championship level; our midfield is flakey and disjointed, and our attacking force is threadbare. Assuming we huff and puff our way to safety this season, we need to upgrade to proven PL quality, at least in the key positions. Too much club resources wasted trying to unearth hidden gems from anywhere and everywhere. Need to start acting like a grown-up PL club now on the transfer front, while there's still time. And yes I DO know it's spending somebody else's money :bla:

It shows it’s limitations when it comes to bullying types of strikers though. Every time they meet such players they end up struggling.

We are 14th FFS. Let's face it we love love a relegation struggle. Much better than mid table obscurity. Lets have a cup run, could it be 83 again? We crave excitement.

Poor example considering they got as far as aberdeen and might be getting relegated again, and if so, they're just going around and around with Dyche, ultimately ending up where they started.

He's hardly doing an Ediie Howe

We actually got as far as Olympiacos, who we would have trounced on another day.

Are Bournemouth not going 'around and around' with Eddie Howe?

When Bournemouth go down you will never see them ever again.

It wasn’t so much their performance in Europe itself, but finishing 7th in the Premier League that was the impressive achievement.

Hughton needs to start calling a few out. go big with the ref decisions, show a bit of disgust, and finally kick a few pussy arses in the team.

are people seriously thinking that a good cup run i.e. scrape through the next round is better than staying in the PL?

Not a cup run, but I’d swop PL to win the thing.

agreed, think Dyche is underrated. Not a flair manager but one who gets results on a pretty small budget same as Warnock.

Unfortunately this is a “what have you done for me lately” division , and lately he’s served up shit turgid football .

How about the notion that with a bit more luck and a different goalkeeper, we could have been 3-0 up after 5 minutes.

No. He's taken them up from the 4th division. They play attractive football. He's signed some very good young prospects and seems to be able to get the best out of them. Plus, they're currently mid-table.

You're just jealous you sacked him only to replace him with a hoofball specialist who could potentially go through a 2nd relegation whilst in charge of you.

My mistake, Olympiakos knocked you out in the qualification stage for the competition back in august, so technically, you didn't even get into the Europa cup. Hardly anything to shout about. Finishing 7th is no great achievement. Reading finished 8th one season, got relegated the season after. Prem stability is more of an achievement, something Dyche has yet to show.

Would you be pleased if we brought him in just say Hughton leaves in whatever way?

He'll only take you as far as ugly football with limited players. Get him to manage a team with talent and it'd be similar to what Mourinho did at United. He signs physical players to do an ugly job. No thanks.

Disappointed in your post Harry. We haven’t kept doing the same thing, we have changed to 4 -3 - 3 to suit the players we have bought.
The strikers not scoring can be blamed on the manager but is he really to blame?
We dropped from 13th to 14th today. Let’s be honest we are used to either being in a relegation struggle or a promotion struggle. We have our excitement back.
If we go down, who better to bring us back up than Chris, just like Dyche?

We go down the last person I want to attempt to bring us back up would b clueless Chris knowing we were going to get the same old shite

I think the biggest issue with CH is even when he makes a substitution if chasing the game it's often like for like or he only tries something when it's hopelessly too late
