What position does Spong play?
Seems to be ever more involved in the U23s despite still being an U18, much like the more vaunted Jenks and Roberts.

Whenever I have seen him play Spong has always played as a central midfielder.
He is very comfortable on the ball and uses the ball well.
Some good players in the U23s, the pick of the bunch in my opinion is Cochrane, the left back, who looks a very good prospect.

Busy at work so haven't had a chance to watch the full 5 minutes but 1st-year scholar Antef Tsoungui was also in the starting line-up.

2. Antef Tsoungui (RB), 5. Warren O'Hora (CB), 6. Lewis Freestone (I think) (CB), 3. Alex Cochrane (LB)
7. Peter Gwargis 4. Jordan Davies 8. Ted Jenks
12. Ryan Longman 9. Danny Cashman 10.?
Number 10 might have been 2nd-year scholar Ben Wilson, but I'm not absolutely certain.
