I agree the stalling process will end. How, I don't know. We shall have to wait and see. Have patience as my fellow Albion fan said above.

I never thought I'd say this, but I agree with you on the credibility of parliament bit - though i'd go one further and say whatever happens it's now in an irrecoverable position.

I am however, rational enough to understand that I have no way of saying what the future holds, so until it does happen then any outcome can't be totally ruled out; especially given all the uncertainty over who actually will get it over the line.

I agree with you.
For all practical purposes we are gridlocked and whatever is resolved, close to half of the voting public will feel cheated and angry. People talk glibly about a leader who can 'bring our country back together' but such a person does not exist. The fracture is further exacerbated by the triumphalism of stupid people who have no idea how this will play out but somehow think they have 'won' something!

And the parties know it too. All they are trying to do is save their core vote.

Anyone outwardly supporting a political party at the moment is either

1) Stupid - the numbers in parliament make any legislation difficult wther you are a Tory or Labour.
2) Self centered to the degree they couldn't really give a toss if their beliefs are in the "minority" or quite happy their beliefs will be enforced on the majority.
3) Been asleep for the last three years.

Totally agree. There's a massive rift and I think it will take some time for things to re-align back some some semblance of unity, however i don't know how long that will take and if it'll ever happen.
Regarding the last sentence, that's very true; Both sides know what they would like to happen, or what they feel 'should' based on their own beliefs but sadly no-one can predict the future and until it happens we don't know whether we will leave with no deal, with a deal or not at all.

My thread was about the football club and fans are part of the club.
I agree with Yorkshire being a funny place. That's why I moved back to Sussex as soon as I could afford it.
