6cm of settled snow here, but with temp’s slightly higher than zero throughout the night, it’s melting already.

(Accurately forecast by the BBC who’d said 1cm to 7cm for our region).

A good 5 inches of snow in my part of Devon last night
Got to work in Hinkley Point and it's just as bad up here

As soon as I saw the green in my garden I knew I'd be ok getting in this morning. Brighton to Dorking Deepdene negotiated without incident. Most snow was gone near to the station and on the journey in even in the fields there was plenty of green on display. I know people get excited by the snow but I just find it a total pain, just hope there is no disruption on the way home this evening.

No, no, safely on the south-west coast of Cornwall. No snow left down here but it was nice for the afternoon. Might head up the moors later for a tramp around
