[Albion] Net spend on players since June 2016 - the harsh reality

Net spend in our case is a completely pointless stat. We came up from the championship so, typically, do not have the squad of sellable assets to begin with. People like Dunk etc have value but we aren't going to sell 3 players and make £50m in a summer. Watford can sell Richarlson for £50m and make their net spend look phenomenal.

Really, I'd say you need to have been in this league 4 or 5 seasons before net spend becomes a true reflection as, by then, you are selling players who you bought in the prem at the beginning.

I really like Football365 but their view on our transfers (like some of our fans) are bad signings=Hughton's mistakes, good signing= recruitment team

Given the current situation & some of the possible outgoings could we be looking at our first net zero or even profitable transfer window? There's quite a few players to shift, even if its just their contract ending & getting the wages off the bill.

Possible outs - Andone, Knockaert, Locadia, Tau, Kayal, Balogun, Schelotto, Steele, Crofts.

Their qualities in the squad could be replaced with the presence of White, Walton, Molumby, Baluta, Gyokeres, Ostigard, Sanders, Clarke, Lamptey & Mac Allister. So no further transfer fees there.

Some of those no doubt will get loaned out again, but if say 5 were integrated into the squad then what positions do we really then need to look at? A striker?

Don't even remember what players we've got it's been so long. But yeh, we usually don't score loads and are after a striker, so i'll say that
