Or simply implement the 1st referendum?

I think Leavers would accept a 2nd referendum on which way we leave. That's a compromise.

If it was possible to simply implement the first referendum, why hasn't it happened in 3.5 years ?

There is certainly something simple about your first sentence

So the Remain option would be binary, yet the leave vote split amongst numerous options? OK.

I'm trying to answer this without being patronising. Give me a minute.

Fair enough, aside from the slightly patronising undertones.

*edit*

Probably better if I use an example, rather than try and explain simply (just in case)

Gods country fortnightly
Gina Miller is an impressive woman, we need more Gina Millers

Can never thank her enough for what she did back in December 2017 when the Tories thought they were bigger than the law itself

She paid a heavy price of her own freedom for standing up for our rights

Leavers represent 43% of the post (based on the top 20 list). Not bad considering only 19% of Albion fans were said to have voted leave.

What can we conclude from this?

That Leavers are more vociferous than Remainers because they WON?

It's the same on Facebook with the eternal memes that they never bother researching to see if they are actually true.

Overall majority zero chance for Lib Dems, biggest party - well never say never.

Most our my friends I would describe as middle aged educated Tories, most are switching to Lib Dems simply as they regard the Tories as no longer the Tories and have no where else to go.

Agree with this.

If you want to remain vote Lib Dem.

If you want to leave with No Deal (or possibly a deal) vote ERG conservative.

Something else vote Labour.

But Shirley, if they were the sort of people that researched to see if things were true or false, they would never have supported leave in the first place :p

I believe that parliament ie the government should be allowed to do their job without interference.

You do understand that Parliament and the Government are two different things ?

If not, I can see where some of your confusion may lie regarding Brexit ???

After all, it's not as if there are loads of posts on this very thread explaining how a Parliamentary Democracy works

Reckon the Supreme Court QC for fund manager Gina Miller (who started furiously scribbling notes at that point) said that you don't need to suspend parliament for five weeks due to an impending Queen's Speech. Could be the argument that swings the verdict in the end.
