You can't whack a good old sprout tree, picking them off before a meal and then left with a lethal weapon. :)

Usually cut in half mix in a little oil and a bit of salt then place on a baking tray and roast in the oven for 10/15 mins they go all caramelised and not mushy , don’t over cook em though , bloody fantastic

The only time we eat them is Christmas. With some pancetta/bacon cooked in . Lovely stuff

Add a bit of garlic oil as well .... heaven !

I've even had them for breakfast.

Cut into quarters and fry in a hot pan with bacon. The colour of sprouts changes when they're cooked, they look a brighter green. Add a big squeeze of lemon and grate some parmesan at the last minute.
