I lose track of all the defenders we have now.

Is Balogun still with us?

The fee for Webster is officially on undisclosed terms but is widely thought to be around £20m and breaks Brighton’s previous highest of £17m for Alireza Jahanbakhsh

So how much did Mr Trossard cost?

£18m was the reported figure. Undisclosed tho.

I think Naylor said closer to £15m

Sussex lad for Sussex lad, I hope not but great signing.

A team full of Sussex lads would be amazing, although very near impossible!!:bhasign::bhasign:

As I have said, Bristol City fan living in Brighton for 40 years now and season ticket holder in the 1901 club. He is that good, worth every penny in todays market, glad I can still watch him this season. Please enjoy guys, because you will...

I don’t know much about him but it’s a position we need to strengthen in and it’s nice to have not only an extra HGP, but a Sussex boy too. Three from Webster, Dunk, Duffy and Burn with Balogun as a very capable fifth choice sounds strong to me.
Webster will be above either Burn or Balogun..

Really don't get that accepting £40m for Dunk is seen as good business when we would have to pay 50% of that for a replacement who does not have PL experience. Especially as Dunk has progressed a lot in the last few years and developed a great understanding with Duffy. Dunk is one of the key reasons we haved stayed up.

How are we covered if we sell Dunk and then one of them gets injured ?

Balogun . Recall on Clark. Burn . Play two centre backs if necessary. Baluta.
Obviously if we could keep dunk , then great .
But 40 million could buy a decent striker which we need. We won’t score enough with what we have .

You can’t recall loan players any more.

Thank **** you aren't a decision maker.

So you’d protect our army of centrebacks at the expense of using dunksale money to reinforce elsewhere ?

Baluta untried at prem level even in his favoured position ?
Can’t recall Clarke
Balogun hasn’t been good enough.
Burn would already be playing as one of the 3

Playing 3 CB means we need to have 5 at the minimum, so if we sold Dunk we would have to buy another
