You have got to get hold of a copy of "awaydays" by Kevin Sampson if you fancy a trip into terrace memory lane... one of my favourite books ever.

I can't believe how many people are at Springfield Park! I thought they only averaged about 2000 on a good day before they found a decent benefactor.
Looks a grim old spot though.
I spent two seconds at first working out if the pictures were pre West stand goldstone before the mullets and burgundy jackets gave the decade away. any takers for the exact year?
