Team for Southend - 3rd Round

I expect Hendo to be given his chance back in goal, with Rents coming in at LB, Butters replacing Santos as Tank needs games to improve his fitness, Fraser replacing Fruity and Jakey coming in for Harty.

1. Wayne Henderson

6. Adam El-Abd
5. Joel Lynch
14. Guy Butters
27. Sam Rents

2. Paul Reid
30. Tommy Fraser
11. Dean Hammond
28. Dean Cox

19. Jake Robinson
15. Alex Revell

Bench: Kuipers, Loft, Hart, Santos, Frutos.

I think the only changes would possibly be bringing in Loft, perhaps resting Hart? and Rents in for Mayo at LB. I would love to see Jakey get a start though...

If all is going well I would like to see DW try Santos up front and Butters at the back for 10 minutes. I thought that yesterday was the ideal time.

I would think that Butters was a little peeved to have Santos come off and DW reshuffle rather than bring him on in a straight swap.

wont change it too much i wouldnt think - a victory over a side in a higher league would do his chances of getting the job the world of good

I can't see that he'd change either the personnel or the formation that much ... Robinson might well get a run, though.

Don't change a winning team unless you have to, regardless of the opposition. Tactical changes can be made to either give players a rest or a run out depending on how things are going in the second half, we must try to keep the unbeaten run going.

There really are some idiots on here.Kuipers has done nothing wrong so deserves the shirt for the time being. So drop him for Hendo who doesn't want to play for the club. Some real logic there:shootself.Lets feel sorry for Wayne because he has missed a couple of games.:D

I must have missed the second round then???

Me too.

Why are we playing the same team in the 3rd round as we did in the 2nd? I didn't think cup competitions worked like that?

This is the most ridiculous thread - I mean, Brighton & the 3rd round go together like Pope Benedict and a Muslim extremist

We have been in the 3rd round of the FA cup the last two seasons. Okay we started in the 3rd round, but still we were there.
