The REMF has just heard that Talk Sport who have been organising a sale on e bay of Rodney Marsh donated items for a charity that supports youth sporting initatives has chosed to donate the proceeds ( which is a very good sum ) to The REMF.

Thanks so much to Robyn Schonhofer from Talk Sport who put forward the REMF's name.

It is an extremely proud moment.

It will be announced live on Talk Sport around 4.30 pm today.

Superb news.
I was listening a week or two ago to Talksport re this. Apparently its Rodney Marsh's SOFA that went on Ebay, initially for 99p. Rodney had a little moan on air as there were no bids, but once he'd pointed out the various famous arses that had been on there in the past (George Best was one of them, can't remember the others), the bids started flooding in. Apparently some car hire firm in Manchester bought it in the end.

Absolutely great that the money is going to REMF. Nice one Wocket Wobyn :clap:
