I'm looking to buy alot of Spiderman comics on Monday, but I Haven’t got a clue where some comic book shops in Brighton are.

Yes I do like Spiderman before you all laugh me.

There used to be one in Sydney Street opposite Clippers!

I will be going down there on Monday, ever since watching both Spiderman films and cartoons, I realised I haven't got any comics.

There a couple in the lanes. Daves book shop used to do lots of comics and there is a shop near the Office pub on Sydney street ( I think ). Quite expensive depending on what you are looking for though.

I'm not looking for the limited edition stuff, like issue number 1 etc.

Just as well your not as it would cost you at least $122000 if you were

And yes I did say $122,000. "in 2004 the record was shattered for the highest price received for an Amazing Fantasy #15 in 9.4 (which features the 1st appearance and origin of Spider-Man), when it sold for $122,000 "

Not sure in Brighton but if you ever go to Brussels visit the Comic Museum - Junior and Mini voted it best thing we did all week and it was very good.

There is one in Sydney Street can't remember what it is called. Collections are sometimes made into graphic novels which you could probably purchase in Borders or Waterstones.

Yeah! God, I loved that place. Really nice (if slightly excentic) guy that run it. His name wasn;t really Jabba though - think it was Dave. Poor fella died a couple of years back falling down a flight of stairs.

RIP nice excentric bloke whose name might be Dave

Go to Daves Comics in Sydney Street. Its a shop now but it used to be at the back of the old Daves Book Exchange.
