R-Kelly's new snake video
Never mind that the song is horrible
Never mind that tigger raps "about hypnotic bringing out your exotic nature.."
But when I first saw this video a while ago. The video was quite repulsive but I couldn't figure it out. Thought it was just a bad song, cheesy video.
I always knew the video was in bad taste. With ongoing operations in both Iraq and Afghanistan, this is not a great time for a desert themed video.
But when that American flag magically appears out of the sand, behind a dancing r.kelly, it's sickening.
Even worse, is at the end of the video when r.kelly throws down his "bag of coins" and in return is granted keys to his magical petrol guzzling Range Rover. At this point, the video ends with kelly leading a fleet of 3 or 4 SUVs back home over the sand. As if to say " we've gotten our SUV, bitches and gas, let's go." How American!
Now either R. Kelly is making a genius subtle anti-war commentary or is officially at the top of my current hate list.
