Currently downloading the Headbangers Ball Special Edition of the great ROCKFEST featuring the following bands, cant WAIT to watch it and relive that glorious day in the middle of a racetrack! Anyone else been to one of these gigs? (also went to 1996 aswell)

The 1991 AC/DC performance there is out on DVD and is great....

The 1988 GnR show - was that the one where someone was crushed?

Yes 2 during G 'n' R - I didn't know anything about it until I got back the next morning and found my mum had been up all night worrying!

I think i went to at least two, an AC/DC headliner and possibly the one where Whitesnake headlined. My memory is rather hazy all these years later.

I think Twisted Sister were on one of those line-ups. Those were the two years I went. I remember Whitesnake with helicopter sounds, searchlights, superb.
