encoding Divx files

converting Divx file - SVD or VCD

This is really beginning to piss me off, is there a quick and easy way to do this??

At present I use Nero but it takes 4 hours and the quality just gets worse and worse throughout the movie. Any suggestions??

Yeah I see where you are coming from now.
Strange but that bit always eluded me but I am now getting the hang of it.
I shall report back every so often with more news.
