I could make a go for the veterans or at 42 am I too young.

I don't know if I've told anyone this before but I played 235 in the Brighton league and scored 35 goals during my 10 year playing career so I would be a bit of an asset to the Veterans. Also give me the reason I have been looking for to get fit.

Qualifications for Veterans sides is 35 years old. If we get enough we could have a nice friendly kick around followed by loads of beer.

That's why I suggested an over 50's game, the opposition would be just as bad.

Rod Stewart hasn't spent most of his working life on building sites.I'm afraid that quite a few years of hod-carrying have f****d my knees .
