Then the whole weekend was worth it for that message alone.

Received this email from Geraint Parry, Club Secretary at Wrexham FC:

Nic,

It was a pleasure to welcome you, your fellow Brighton fans and all the supporters from so many different clubs to the Racecourse at the weekend.

I have personally been moved by the way that football supporters in general have rallied round one of their own during these difficult times for us.

But to see so many fans make the effort to be with us against Bristol City was something else.

In these days of spiralling bank accounts and monopoly type debts, it reinforced my believe that people still enjoy football for what it is - the best game in the world.

The passion shown by genuine football fans will always win through - it must. It's something that money just can't buy.

Your efforts on behalf of Wrexham AFC and all the other clubs that have needed you help is much appreciated.

Keep up the good work and if I can do anything to assist in the future, then please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Yours in football,

Geraint Parry
Wrexham AFC

OTLW, are Wrexham aware of the Tom Hark Falmer song coming out?, I've seen the amount of Wrexham fans who would like to repay the favour, could be a couple of hundred sales and some
