Once again I am excited but worried

Our run against the Hammers has to end eventually….

Never beaten us in the top flight, or something like that, isn't it? A bit like us never having won at OT .....................

Worryingly I can see the similarity! We always seem to struggle to put away teams in the relegation places anyway.

I simply can't help but still think 'can't be in the bottom three this week'. It will take a few years to condition myself out of it!

Snap out of it man!

When I look at that table, I just think "We should be one of three with a 100% record"...

What possible reason can you have for thinking that...

...oh yeah, the usual one.

If the red Mancs lose to Liverpool this weekend, they will have spent more time in the bottom 3 in the last 5 years than we have.

Plus we’ve always scored….time for a loss to nil :moo:

Might not take effect this weekend.

Well with it being suspended temporarily pending written reasons/possible appeal and they probably shut up shop for the weekend I’d go for 99.9% it won’t take effect this wkd…..where does all the ‘fine’ money go?

To be honest, that wasn't what I originally wrote - the tweet appeared in my timeline framed as news of both Tuchel's fine and ban, and Conte's fine. I thought one image was announcing Tuchel's and the second was announcing Conte's, so I initially noted that it would take place this weekend and unless there was an appeal. I noticed my mistake as soon I posted it, so quickly edited it to hide that mistake. I didn't give it too much thought and just left open the possibility the written explanation coming out tomorrow - it's match day so is a business day in football. But I suspect you are right, and that the discipline people probably are more 9-5, mon-fri.

Manchester United v Liverpool. A relegation 6 pointer????

:dunce:

Both could start monday in the bottom three, but that would involve palace winning and us losing, so no thank you. Fortunately, the relegation battle does include those just outside the bottom three, so still a 6 pointer. I just kinda like the idea of them bother being in the bottom 3.
