I’ll open with Preben Elkjær, outstanding bully of a Danish centre forward who practically single handedly led Verona to their first and only Serie A title.

Outstanding footballer. Genuine nutter off the pitch in his playing days.

Paul Watson was the unsung hero of both the division 3 & division 2 championship winning seasons. The sheer number of assists he got for king bob was outlandish. Watson assist/Zamora goalscorer was a classic and deadly combination at lower league stadia throughout the land in the very early noughties.....

I think he became a PE Teacher at Chichester High School and then sadly lost his sight.
