I believe there was a bit of ‘pushback’ but Poundland is a local company and so the greater good was served by having the stadium named after a local company. Never been there, though seen it from the motorway. Went to Fellows Park a couple of times.

Shame they don't exist anymore as Selhurst could go for 99p shop.
