We NSCers are spread far and wide so post your temperatures, heat feel where you are during the day.

Here in the Worthing, it’s currently pleasant and certainly not hot. Quite a bit of cloud too

Does the interior of your house/flat get very hot in high temps or can you keep it cool by shutting doors, windows and drawing curtains/blinds? We live in an old house with thick walls so generally we can keep it cool in hot weather. Let’s see how it pans out over the next couple of days.

In the Saharan outpost known as Sompting, temp outside is 21, in my lounge it's 25, so the insulation's working ok.

And it rained hard for about 5 mins last night.

The cat is currently sprawled out in the hallway away from all the windows, fan on in the front room and it still feels a tad warm. Not looking forward to getting in the car shortly, that will be like a sauna. 21°c at the moment apparently, supposedly 31°c when I leave work later.

No idea what the temp. is, but 7day Netweather says it is 23C at the moment.
We live 100 yards from the sea and again, Netweather says top temp. will be 31C.

Currently at 0900hrs it's a cool 25c, much the overnight temperature. Rising to 34/5c during the afternoon. Can't really cool off in the pool as the water temperature there is 34c at the moment. It's catch 22 with that, I either leave the solar cover off and evaporation causes weekly top ups, or I leave it on and it keeps the temperature up.

On a bright side the incredible firefighters (INFOCA) have eventually stabilised the fire that had been raging around us since Friday morning (Pinos de Alhaurin). At one stage we had 7 helicopters, 2 fire planes, 2 control/spotter planes and 270 brave guys on the ground working in horrendous conditions of heat and terrain. Plus, of course, the ground back up teams. Half of our urbanisation was evacuated, we luckily escaped that although we had cases packed ready.

Cheltenham here: currently 22, went for a run at 6.30 and was really pleasant but seems to be shooting up now - says 3pm could be 37 (feels like 40) so we’ll see..

Cannot believe the builders are out working, wonder when they pack it in for the day.
