Hysteria about almost everything from the price of fish to politics on UK news programmes now basically, not just the current hot weather.
Not just you, Icy.
Anyone remember 76? Now that was hot. And dry. A young Beefy Botham dazzling in his whites. Plagues of ladybirds. And the old bat I worked with had, only months before, been bleating 'we're going into another Ice Age'.

Now 76 was really hot, just left school and was down the beach every day, lovely.
