Just heard a great anecdote about Tony Sirico on 5Live.

Apparently, whenever a character was due to be written-out of The Sopranos, the other cast members would turn up at the script read-through and first off express their sympathies toward the affected actor about to lose their job. Apart from Tony Sirico. He would generally turn up 10 minutes late and walk into the room making machine gun noises.
