A brilliant goalie for Rangers in a great side and the first Scottish international keeper in decades to completely dispel the error-prone tag.

Totally irrelevant, but used to drink with a guy who told me many tales of Mr Goram. Was a hit with the ladies apparently.

Diagnosed with cancer and gone within 6 months. Apparently declined chemo, having seen what his ex-wife went through with it last year.

Talking about this to Kilo last night at a Wedding, it was a Friday night in 1984/85 season, for some bizarre reason we played at the Goldstone before The Grand National.

Goram would have been 20 years old and to this day it remains one of the greatest visiting Goalkeeping performances in my time watch8ng the Albion.

RIP.

Another one taken too early.
