In this instance, maybe not - but there has been other more interesting stuff behind the App wall earlier on - and of course, they might decide to put more and more stuff out in this manner - although I still can't see what's in it for the club.

Get more people on the app, more push alerts, more advertising potential etc.

I wasn't on the app until recently. Seems pretty slick.
