Scarves tend to have the text on alternate sides opposite ways around.
From the holder’s point of view, it is the correct way around.

To be fair if (or when) Albion are half an hour away from a European Cup Final I may have trouble keeping myself the right way up

It's the only way to identify fans who are actually scouse. The scarves the right way around are held by the loyal Liverpool fans from south of London.

This has led to idle wondering. Why is the plural of scarf , scarves?
Can use both - used to be mainly scarfs, nor mainly scarves. No idea why! Wife, Roof, Half - and so on.
