Without looking any up, the starting XI as follows:

Robert Sanchez - Albion Premier League regular, and full Spain international

Ales Mateju - Serie A regular, first with Brescia, but since January, with Venezia. Full Czech Rep international. Still has the most incredible WAG of any recent Albion player.

Tom Dallison - at Colchester, after a couple of seasons at Crawley

Ben Barclay - not certain, but fairly sure he's one of the lads with Albion links signed at Stockport, by Rusk.

George Cox - at Fortuna Sittard

Henrik Bjordal - no idea at all!

Max Sanders - at Lincoln City

Steven Alzate - Albion Premier League squad

Viktor Gyokeres - Coventry City top scorer and POTS.

Danny Mandriou - playing in the League of Ireland, and doing well enough to be mentioned for a full Ireland call up

Aaron Connolly - somewhere between Albion PL squad and League One - up to him.

That's actually a really high success rate, for a Youth Cup side. Well done everyone.

I guess that’s evidence of the Development system working, ie producing a couple of first teamers and the rest filtering their way down the leagues

Billy Collings - not a clue (edit - looked this one up. Last club Haywards Heath)

James Tilley - at Crawley

Warren O'Hora - doing well at MK Dons

Alex Cochrane - still at the Albion - coming to the end of an excellent season at Hearts in the SPL

Bojan Radoluvic - went back to Sweden. Can't recall which club (not a giant)

(and I just looked up Bjordal - he's apparently at Valerenga in Norway)

AIK is a fairly big club, but he struggled to get game time and was recently sent to Finland (HJK Helsingfors).

So the only one not in the pro game is Billy Collings?

That's amazing. It's a better team than we had for most of the 90's and it's 'only' a youth team.

Does anyone know what percentage of players end up playing professionally once they leave our academy? It can't be that many every year can it?

Could our memory be refreshed on this matter?

It is a good record of success that so many have come through to the professional game. Interesting that none have made us much profit, but one has prevented us from going out and having to spend £30m on a keeper

Our young players are getting better year on year, i've every confidence that in 4 years time our current crop of u23's and loanees will have fared even better

We also had young Ben White out on loan at League 2 Newport County - whatever happened to him...?

Although we haven't made much profit on that squad (Sanchez's worth aside) we did at least double our money on Ales Mateju when we sold him to Berscia. He signed for approx £2 million and was sold on for about £4 million. It also puts him 5th (i think) behind White, Burn, Knocky and Ulloa in our most expensive transfer fee's received for a player. Not bad for someone who barely troubled the first team.

I suspect that whatever sell on we have on Gyokeres, will see that £1.5m transfer fee boosted significantly.
