25 years and four days since we were all in tears of relief at Edgar Street, this wonderful unique club produces this feel good finale.

Thanks to all who gave today, that day and every day in between.

Six years to the day that we played in *THAT* game in Middlesbrough.

Them getting stuffed at Preston to end their play-off hopes was great, and the performance at the Amex was the perfect icing on the karma cake.

Utter wankers.

I must admit to a wry smile at their sending off...

I know some of their fans were vile, but I'm thinking about our fans. Attila's words from Goldstone Ghosts rang true with me today:

"And one day, when our new home’s built, and we are storming back
A bunch of happy fans without a care
We¹ll look back on our darkest hour and raise our glasses high
and say with satisfaction: we were there."

We've lost a lot of friends and loved ones along the way, and today made me think of some of them and how happy they would have been today.
