Remembering the ANZACs
ANZAC Day is the anniversary of the landings on the Gallipoli Peninsula in Turkey by allied forces on 25th April 1915. What followed was one of the bloodiest battles of the First World War, with heavy casualties sustained on both sides

My grandad luckily survived this battle, wouldn't even talk to my dad about the horrors that ensued :salute:

ANZAC Day is coming up again, next Tuesday 25th April 2023. It does in fact symbolize all the conflicts Australians have been involved in since way back in the day - the Boer War, the Gallipoli Campaign and the European trenches in WWI, New Guinea and the South Sea Islands in WWII and many more conflicts too numerous to mention. We will remember all the lives lost, and the people who survived and were broken by the absolute tragedy that is war.
