I'm not really sure how many folk are into the pre-match stuff anyway. I preferred it without.

Sounds perfect. Man City blasted shit music at us right up until kick off. I have no idea how their fans put up with it every week.

All I had today was a "small river", thanks to Covid and a dodgy knee.
Had I been at the ground, with 27 mins to go until kick off, I would have been in the queue for a beer with the following thoughts in my head:
"Move up"
"Please tell me you haven't queued up for 15 minutes just to get a bottle of water"
"FFS you slow clown, how hard can it be to operate a till"
"Why haven't you pre-poured?"
"FFS MOVE UP"
"The steak pies are the RED ONES you incompetent"
.......
*oh, my turn now*
"Hi, yeah, I'll have 2 Harvey's and a Chicken Pie please. Yes, it's the yellow one. No, take your time. Yes Harvey's is the bitter. No worries. First time? Ah well, I hope it pays for your studies. Yes, if you could top it up a tad, that much head gives you half a pint of beer. Thanks. Oh, my card? There? No.. Where? Ah, the wireless symbol. Thanks. Yes, it'll work shortly."

Yes he was there. Big chunk of the pre-match was taken up with The Mighty Fin and his dad being presented with their award.
