That is not a proper goal. For starters the attacking teams goalkeeper didn't touch the ball at last 3 times. No passing across the back 4 and I find it very unsporting that the attacking team did not allow the opposition defenders to get back into position.

It's football, but not as we know it.

90% of the fans would be delighted with the winner, 4.99% would mourn because of their egos, the OP of this thread would start five threads about how the goal was lucky and how Brighton will surely lose next week. Not a difficult scenario to imagine.

Brilliant. As was their 6-5 victory over Dover last week. Real, exciting football whilst we sleep through PL borefests and VAR at the moment. League 2 is also shaping up for a decent end of season. It’s what football’s all about.

And 80% pf the Amex crowd would have missed the goal, having left early. PB would be writing a 10,000 word post on the unacceptable behaviour of the fan getting onto the pitch who will now get a life ban. The GP out team would be moaning about the previous 25 shots that weren't on target, while another group of fans will be recalling the Highbury semi final was better and where did the Cup Final money go to.
