Just had a quick look, he has spent no more than 2 years in any of his last 6 managerial positions, which appears to indicate either a) he's not very good b) he's trouble and teams get shot c) he gets board easily...

... obviously the most efficient way to get lots of experience in football is to get sacked over and over and over again, its a clear indicator of skill in THPP-world.

Too much passion, not enough strategy, intelligence, calmness, balance or integrity.

Passion and other traits indicating a lack of tactical awareness over old fashioned dinosaur ranting amongst non-league managers are common but those managers who are ‘all about passion’ are now identified as ****ing useless by most professional club owners. Let the fans do the passion and a ‘grown up’ manage the team.

Well, you can learn things in Scandinavia. Gather experience.

From a per capita perspective Scandinavian countries usually outperform you in pretty much every thinkable sport. No reason to believe that Scandinavian experience wouldnt be just as good as sitting with Gary Neville and Tony Adams in some FA-course where you learn to play four four ****ing two.

Slaven Bilic may be a great manager since he has experienced getting sacked from the role multiple times. Boris Johnson would probably be a great couples councelor since he had a bunch of wives and if you want to stop drinking, look no further than asking Gazza for advice because he has quit a thousand times.

There are plenty of coaches who could adequately replace Potter, should he leave for any reason, which he won't.

Bilic isn't one of them.

Most managers go straight from playing to management. Potter squeezed a degree in between the two and that’s a bad thing?

Edit: I‘ve realised the bit about Leeds poly is a reference to a role he held there rather than his degree.
