This one could be interesting....
Sanchez- 6.5 A couple of errors but some good saves that kept us in it too. Unlucky with the deflection for first goal
Veltman- 6 Brightons Mr Consistent, usually solid but never special
Duffy- 5 A couple of errors but overall solid, doesnt cut it as a starter at this level unfortunately
Dunk- 5 Has looked out of sorts since injury. Distribution in the first half was terrible.
Cucurella- 6 Defended well and tried to get forward but not much end product
Bissouma- 6 Showed flashes of his usual self, but still looks a long way off his usual best
Gross- 6 Some nice touches and links up the play going forward. Set pieces disappointing. Could have done more to get on the end of the ball into the box just before coming off.
MacAllister- 4 Anonymous for much of the game
March- 6 Typical Solly performance, lots of effort, no end product.
Trossard- 7 Improved performance and looked our only real threat- poor decision making when in good positions though
Maupay- 5 Not in good form, had a few opportunities to get a shot away and fluffed his lines. Worked hard as usual.
Subs- 3 None did anything to change the game. Would have liked to see Mwepu and Sarmiento introduced
